Bring the feeling of a cool rainforest floor into your enclosure with Red-heart Moss (Breutelia affinis), a beautifully textured moss prized for its soft starry appearance and lush, layered growth. Hand-selected in small seasonal batches, this species adds depth, movement and natural structure to terrariums, vivariums and miniature landscapes.
Its vibrant green tips and subtle reddish tones beneath create a rich woodland look, especially when nestled among stone, driftwood and leaf litter. In humid builds, Red-heart Moss forms soft mounded colonies that help create a dense, established forest feel.
This species performs especially well in consistently humid environments and is ideal for damp pockets, river-edge styling, shaded walls and rainforest-style vivariums.
